Our first big project was to create a magazine cover. For my cover I decided to make it a magazine about comic books. The primary image is that of each color Lantern Corpsman raising a fist to the sky, shooting a colored beam of light into the blackest night. I also added a picture of the character Parallax to emphasize an internal secondary story. The nameplate uses a Batman-esque font to complement the subject matter, and all colors and fonts added are to portray a fluidity of design to cut down clashing elements of the piece.
